Let the lesson begin
By draping the eyes and filtered mind
Shutting the gates while souls unwind
Trample the river flowing images
Firmly plant thy feet
Drive excuses before they sting
Peace honor and tranquility greet
Club every doubt every fear you find
String those memories good and kind
Stitch them with skill into a kite
Surrender to a trip keep yourself light
Abandon all worry to the earth
Set sail and knead the wind
Such an uplifting take on these words. Well done, Benjamin. 🙂
Thx Misk. Haven’t done a Wordle in ages.
Stitching them with skill into a kite – what a wonderful idea…this poem flies with hope and possibility
Thx 🙂
I love the hopeful, optimistic message in this and especially like the imagery of stitching a kite. My favorite line, however, is, “Club every doubt every fear you find.” Just lovely.
Thx for your thoughts! Much appreciated.
-Benjamin
“Set sail and knead the wind” – now that’s an appealing thought…nice work Benjamin…truly.

Hi Sharon! I made a comment on your blog but had trouble publishing it. I enjoyed the story you crafted in your poem especially the last few lines.
This is such an uplifting poem, Benjamin. I love, “set sail and knead the wind.”
