A mind subject to vanity
is like a boulder falling on a feeble rock,
casting a great shadow of darkness
before its crushing point…
A mind subject to vanity,
is likened to a man in a small boat
within a sea of lost hopes.
Wanting nothing but to take him under,
and swept away by his own current.
To drown him, sink him.
Until he and his little boat
drown in the misery
of all deceit.
